I am a fourth year student studying Cognitive Science with a concentration in Cognitive Psychology from Springfield, VA. Since high school I have had a strong desire to go into public service. It wasn’t until I joined Rise Together at the end of my first year of college that I realized that I had a heart and passion for mentoring and teaching. With Rise Together I have served as a facilitator and team leader and as an executive team member I hope to gain better insight into curriculum building. I am excited to continue volunteering for Rise Together and working with students to support them as they learn leadership, communication, cooperation, and resilience. My goal for the upcoming year is to strengthen the connection between UVA and the Charlottesville community through Rise Together and support students in pursuing their post secondary and life goals.
