I am a second year student studying Education at Piedmont Virginia Community College from Springfield, Virginia. After I receive my associates degree I hope to attend Longwood University to receive a BA in Special Education. The reason I joined Rise Together is to gain experience working with students of different backgrounds. I enjoyed my first year of working with the students and I am excited to get back to work this year! My personal goal for Rise Together this year is to gain the knowledge and skill necessary to manage a classroom since I hope to be a teacher in the future.
