I am a fourth year student from Reston, VA studying psychology and economics. I am passionate about Rise Together’s goal of positively benefitting the students of the surrounding Charlottesville area and wanted to take a more active role in the organization. My goal for this upcoming year is to raise awareness about Rise Together with the larger UVA student population and attract more tutors. Also, I hope to help organize social events that bring together Rise Together peer mentors and help them get to know each other.
