I am a fourth year from Midlothian, VA and I am studying speech communication disorders in the Curry School. I joined Rise Together because I’ve always enjoyed tutoring and mentoring, and I wanted to be involved in a similar program in college. Rise Together is unique because through group mentoring, you have the opportunity to make personal connections with the students and see their growth and progress towards their academic and personal goals. One of my goals for Rise Together this year is to get more UVA students involved and really grow the program. As for my personal goals, I am looking forward to graduating this year and hopefully being accepted into graduate school to earn my master’s degree.
